Hello from home! Oh it feels so good to be home, in Swedish there is a saying like “borta bra men hemma bäst” which means its good to be gone but best to be at home. I never felt it as strongly as I do now, the last months have been crazy much travelling which was amazing but now I am excited to be at home… well, before that I’m going to Vietnam to see my sister which I’m really excited about, but after I’m going home. And guess what is one of the things I’m most excited about when being more home this autumn? My new Samsung Serif TV!

This white piece of art is a new TV from Samsung designed by the designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec who wanted to design the TV so it fits in with the furnitures, to make it part of the furnitures and not just a technical machine, which is so smart. I’ve often come across places where I find that the TV is destroying the interior of a room, but this one is an elegant design object and innovative interior piece at once. The Samsung Serif TV was inspired by the letter I in serif, from there comes its name. Because of the “serifs” (up and down borders) it can stand easily by itself on a shelf or on the floor, but the TV also comes with legs which is my favourite way of having the TV, then I can easily move it around however I want. It’s so unique and even though it is very minimalistic, it works for any interior style since it is so simple. Every day the expectations in product design are getting higher and have become as important as the functionality of the products itself.

My favourite was the white one obviously, fits like a glove in our apartment, but they are also available in dark blue and red and in three different sizes – 40 inch, 32 inch and 24 inch. On the backside of the TV is a nice fabric panel that covers all the ports and connectors which gives flexibility in terms of composing the TV in the room, meaning you don’t have to hide the backside!

This TV is amazing because it connects with your WIFI, you can surf on it, watch netflix, have apps, listen to music and of course normal television. I can’t wait for our cozy and cuddly movie nights in front of this Samsung Serif!

The Samsung Serif TV in this post was sponsored and the post itself was supported by Samsung Electronics GmbH.
