10 Hours in Copenhagen

Hello loves! I hope you’re all having a great weekend! Last Friday Klemens and I flew over to Ibiza with Absolut Vodka for 24 hours of fun, and directly after we flew to Sweden to visit my childhood bestie to surprise her for her babyshower, hang out with her and to see her belly! Wahh!! <3 I’m so so so happy for her and her amazing boyfriend!

Since I don’t go to Sweden very often we stayed for 6 days to visit the rest of the family which was so much fun, this week was really nice and relaxing. But as you know Klemens and I are kind of addicted to shoot and create content, and Helsingborg wasn’t enough, we decided to take the ferry and the train over to Copenhagen for a day :P

We went really early and arrived at 10am already to the central station. From there we walked around and found a great coffee place called RAW 42 where we had the yummiest Caffe Latte with homemade almond milk, quite expensive but totally worth it! They also serve very instagrammable Acai bowls, but we were satisfied with only coffee at that time… we’re both not very into breakfast unless it’s hotel breakfast, haha! Somehow my appetite goes crazy when I stay at hotels! Sadly we didn’t take any photos at RAW 42, but trust me, the place is beautiful!mikuta-copenhagen-28mikuta-copenhagen-1mikuta-copenhagen-4mikuta-copenhagen-3

After the coffee we walked to Nyhavn and looked at all the colourful houses, how cute is this? It was full of people having drinks and food and just walking around. We chilled for a while, took photos and decided to move forward but go back there later in the evening instead.

Not only were we excited to move forward, we were also hungry so found this super cool place called The Union Kitchen which is located on a little street just by the harbour. The place was totally full but we found a nice little table by a window (perfect light) and had two cappuccinos and a sandwich! How cool are these coffees with the letters? What a great idea to get attention on social media, everyone was taking pictures for Instagram, and so did we! <3  Apart from great coffee and food their interior is also beautiful. I fell in love with their lamp made out of 16 lights (Klemens had to count) and everything else. Totally recommendable if you go to Copenhagen!

After the food we walked around a little more and found this park with a castle in the middle of the city called Rosenborg castle garden perfect for a romantic date, to play games with friends or to work out! It is pretty big and a bit of a labyrinth so it can also be fun to play hide and seek ;) haha! On one side there were a lot of different flowers to enjoy. Great to get out from the city stress for a while! It also has events and concerts during the summer, sweet!

When we were done walking in the park we wanted coffee, and luckily we found the cutest pink little place just outside of the park called Kafferiet. I fell in love with the place and couldn’t stop watching all their little toys everywhere inside the coffee place. As you can see on the photos it is very small and I think you can only sit 3 ppl inside, but it’s ok because I guess this is more a place for take away but we sat down outside, enjoyed a really good coffee watching all the fashionable danish people walking or biking by. I have to say that I got so inspired by everything and everyone there, they are all so stylish in every way! Wow!

We walked around a little more, checked out cute boutiques, forced myself to not shop anything except a Copenhagen sticker for my suitcase, and walked around a little more. Look at all the cute houses! <3 mikuta-copenhagen-19mikuta-copenhagen-20mikuta-copenhagen-21

When it got late we got hungry again and it was time for dinner. Both Klemens and I are not big restaurant people and prefer to spend our money on coffee, haha, no but we like to go to places for lunch and at night we cook ourselves or have something small. That day we were really excited for pizza and found this place called Pizza Kochini where they had, seriously, one of the best pizzas I ever had! The tomato sauce was so tasty! The place is just a little hole in the wall and you wouldn’t expect it to be so good, but you have to try it if you visit! Thank me later ;)

After dinner it was quite late and we had to start going back, but before finishing our Copenhagen trip we bought a beer and sat down in Nyhavn with the feet hanging down and enjoying the little sunset we had together with many many others! What a great little trip! <3

One day we will go back for longer, but 10 hours was still great to get a nice overview! Sadly it wasn’t very sunny when we were there, so the photos are quite grey, but it was still very cozy!

Have a wonderful day! Lots of love xx Mikutas
