MOXY TIMES SQUARE

October 23, 2017

Hello loves! While in New York during fashion week Klemens and I visited Moxy Times Square – a newly opened hotel right in the center of NYC. As most people we are always looking for a comfortable, easy, cozy and yet stylish place to stay while we visit different cities, something where we feel free to do whatever we want, where we feel comfortable to use the areas of the hotel and work and hang without being in the way. Moxy Times Square is just like that, they have created the hotel so that it is perfect for everyone and offers everything we all want. Together with designers they discovered what people need and don’t need, and this is the result!

Instead of having big rooms with a big closet or working table which just takes lots of space and what most of us don’t actually use, they have focused on having a big lobby and hangout areas which everyone can use, where people hang, work, play games, listen to music and have drinks, a place to connect with other people or just relax after a long day walking through the city.

The design of Moxy Times Square is very camping inspired which you can see in all the furniture, they have beautiful “camping” chairs, sofas, big pillows and their big signature mascot – a bear – hanging from the ceiling by the entrance, all made out of small pieces of mirror.

The bedrooms are also camping inspired, cozy but very convenient, the beds are big with soft sheets, big windows towards the busy streets, foldable chairs and table hanging on the wall which you can easily take down if in need, drawers under the bed where you can put your belongings and a cute little washing area and a perfect bathroom with all the necessary space. It is very smart and I fell in love with their idea and concept as soon as I saw it.

There is a bar by the lobby where they make very good cocktails where they also brew fresh coffee or grab some bites 24 hours. There is also a rooftop where you can enjoy the view, do yoga or attend their parties. Even if you’re not staying at the Moxy Times Square you can still enjoy a nice dinner in their restaurant.

We both really recommend this place if you’re staying in New York, it is in the perfect location right at Times Square, with great connections and the price is very affordable and fair for such an enjoyable experience!

Can’t wait to go back to New York!

Lots of love xx Mikuta
