MY EVERYDAY JEWELLERY

October 11, 2018

– Anzeige/ad – Post contains adlinks –Hello loves! The most common question I receive (apart from which filter we use) is where my jewellery is from. It’s such a tricky question since most my jewellery is super personal, mostly gifts or from flea markets, but some pieces are available to get so I thought I’d put together a little post with my every day jewellery and the story behind them :)

Most of these pieces I’ve worn everyday for at least 3 years, that’s when I started wearing jewellery regularly. Since I already have my favourite pieces and they mean so much to me, it’s hard to change them or get new ones, specially when it comes to rings – where would I wear them? But I’m starting to be more open to new pieces, I for example took off all my necklaces a month ago, mainly because they started looking bad but also because I wanted something new. It’s good with changes sometimes, while making this post and searching for similar pieces for you guys I found so much nice…hmmm… ;P

Anyways, let’s start!

First off we have the rings that I wear on my left hand. The two first rings I got from my mum, the first one is from Ibiza which she got when she was there on vacation and the second one is from when she was in South Africa two years ago. They are both real silver and both with a turnable ring over which I always roll when I get nervous, haha. The third ring I got from Klemens when I came back from a family trip in New York where I had my birthday. Klemens was looking after the dogs in Mallorca and when we came back he picked us up at the airport with flowers and once we came home there was a newly baked cake and this ring for me, he’s the best! The ring is from Pandora, it’s not available anymore but find a similar here <3

Here we have the rings that I wear on my right hand. They are all more massive and I love them all so much. The first one I got for myself and actually the only jewellery piece I got for myself. I found it on a Sunday market in Mallorca when we had a cozy family day and fell in love with it. The second ring is also from my mum (she loves to get me rings), it was from when my mum and I were travelling though Vietnam visiting my sister while she lived there. We all got a ring each to remember the trip, me and my mum got the same ones and my sister a different one. A nice memory <3

The last ring is also from my mum (haha) and it is my first ring of them all, I got it for Christmas and it is from Edblad, a Swedish jewellery label, it’s made of stainless steel and I love it! I used to wear lots of jewellery from Edblad, for example the star and clover necklace!

My two necklaces are from one of my oldest friends Amanda, she started her jewellery brand Holy Recycle about a year ago and makes beautiful pieces out of recycled medals which she finds all over the world and sterling silver and gold. I absolutely love her most iconic Holy Mary Rosario necklace with the ball chain which fits perfectly together with the rose <3

Now to the bracelets and bangles! The top left bangle is also a gift from my mum from her trip to Ibiza, if you go to Ibiza make sure to check all the little jewellery boutiques, they have beautiful pieces! The top right bangle is from a collaboration I did with Skagen, it’s mesh and steel and I have the same as a necklace, it’s so simple and Scandinavian.

These beautiful little earrings and studs are from another old friend who just launched her jewellery line this summer, it’s called D’asp and she creates different little earrings which you can mix and match for your own personal style in sterling silver, rose and gold. My favourites are the stars because I love stars, but I also love the ring with the spikes and the white cz pave stones, the mix of spikes and sparks is amazing. Always love a great ear-party!

These guys you probably already know about, our own cuff and bangles <3 The cuff is still available on our shop and I know a lot of you are asking about the bangles, they will be back soon. I can’t say exactly when but we are working hard on it! <3

Lastly we have these two, the bangle is from Stella & Bow, it’s the silver Cosmo bracelet in silver and has such a special meaning for me, it’s from one of the first collaborations I did when I started blogging and I didn’t take it off since then. It fits perfectly next to my Kapten & Son watches and my left arm feels naked without it. The watch is also always on, like all my jewellery I can’t be without them <3

Lots of love xx Mikuta

I loved reading your story, since I was among people who asked the question, I knew it would be interesting. That is something I like to hear when I meet jewelry lover. I love rings and bangles myself and have my memories from trips tied to them as well. I also roll my ring stacks when I am nervous.:) best of luck @z.karadzic

I think these rings are very nice. I have a very good style. I recently saw a similar ring. It is a shop in China. I don’t know how it is. I hope you can help me refer to it. Thank you.
