Our Sunny Days in Prague

Hello loves! Here is a little photobomb from our days in Prague, it was a while ago but better late than never, right? :) I loved this city so much, I heard many times how beautiful it is but I never thought it was THAT beautiful! What a dream city, if it wasn’t so small I would definitely consider living there <3

We were there for five days and got to see most of the city, since we have so many wonderful “instagram friends” we got a lot of tips of places to go, so now I thought of sharing some of our favourite spots for you guys in case you haven’t been or want to go :)mikuta-prague-31mikuta-prague-5mikuta-prague-40

CHARLES BRIDGE

I guess most of you know about Charles Bridge already, but since we took some photos there I wanted to share them anyways! When we arrived during the day and passed the bridge it was almost impossible to pass because of all the tourists, but the next day we went there at 6am and the bridge was almost empty! It was really beautiful to see the sun coming up behind the top of the old buildings. Another fun thing to do is to touch the statue in the middle with the gold and make a wish, and the wish will come true a year after :)

THE CASTLE & PANORAMA BAR

On the west side of the river (my favourite place, more chill and beautiful streets) there is the big castle where it is beautiful to walk around. But more amazing is when you continue down and reach the wine yard, it is so green and the view over the city is beautiful! We found a cozy little panorama bar/restaurant right there which I totally recommend.

CONTAINALL

This was our favourite bar where we went back quite some times, also because it was near our hotel and always on our way back home ;) It is just a chill bar made of containers with a lot of beach chairs, christmas lights and cheap drinks! They also show movies, concerts and all kind of artistic shows! A big plus is all the swans that gather around just beside on the river :)

SHOOTERS ISLAND & PADDLEBOAT

Shooters Island is a little island in the river where people lay on the grass, read, play or take romantic walks. You can also rent paddleboats which is just what Klemens and I did, how fun! :D

RIVER SIDE

On the east side of the river, close to the National Theatre but more south, people come together for afterdrinks and food just by the river. They have food trucks and bars and even djs! It was amazing to hang out while the sun went down and meet friendly people and listen to good music!

ANGELATO ICECREAM

A lot of people told me about this icecream place called Angelato, so we had to try it and yes, it was amazing! We tried to salty caramel and yum yum yum!!!

HOTEL U-PRINCE ROOFTOP BAR

In the centre of Prague you can find Hotel U-prince which has a rooftop bar with the best view! We normally don’t like these fancy places but had to go up and check it out and it was great, we ordered a tasty lemonade which we didn’t know was actually a cocktail so we left the hotel happier than expected :P

You can either have food or just a drink, however you want :)

DISH N FINE BURGER BISTRO

If you like burgers this is the place for you, if you’re in Prague! They have some fun and different choices on the menu, but also original burgers and the fries with persil and garlic are to die for! <3 Want some right now!!!

WEIRD ICE-CREAM DONUT

I actually saw a picture of this weird donut with ice-cream for the first time on 9gag and didn’t stop thinking about it until I tried it in Prague. It was nice but fill you up a lot, so better share! It is also very hard to eat because it is so big and you keep on getting ice-cream on your nose, but it is really yummy! They sell them everywhere in Prague so you have to try it if you’re there :) I especially liked the star paper around it! <3

The last pictures are just some extra ones of us, a beautiful street and a view of Charles Bridge! I miss this place so much and would love to go back again soon, we were really lucky with the weather and had full sunshine and 28 degrees everyday, which made this trip even more special!

I hope you liked our little guide, can’t wait to make the next one!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Lots of love xx Mikuta

This is exactly how I remember Prague! Even some of the same bars we hung out in while I was working on some stuff there (years ago!).
Such a wonderful city!

Dear MIKUTA :)

I am a starting photographer and I am absolutely enchanted by your pictures. I know you have these questions million times per day and I understand, you had to study so hard to learn your skills. But still, would you consider writing a brief article about how you take pictures? What camera you use, lenses and maybe how you edit them? Your work is fantastic!!! Thank you for the great inspiration. I am from Prague, living in Australia now, but seeing these pictures take my breath away and I want to go back there <3

Love, Kristyna

I was in Prague in 2005 just for a weekend and immediately fell in love with the city & its amazing nightlife (was in my 20s back then ;). Beautiful pics! xo
